Ashley Carr

Ashley Carr co-founded the art advisory TWAAS, now Modica Carr Art Advisory, in 2015 with her business partner Suzanne Modica. Ashley currently works with the firm's clients on all aspects of their collecting activities, such as identifying and accessing work, negotiating acquisitions, curating installations, and advising on potential deaccessions and donations. Ashley's main focus is contemporary art, and she works with many of the firm's clients who are passionate about emerging artists and markets. Prior to co-founding Modica Carr Art Advisory, Ashley worked with Thea Westreich Art Advisory Services in New York for eight years, rising to the level of Partner in 2012. She received  BAs in History of Art and Architecture and French Literature from Brown University. 

Suzanne Modica

Suzanne Modica is a co-founder of Modica Carr Art Advisory and specializes in serving collectors of post-War and Contemporary art.  Previous to Modica Carr Art Advisory, Suzanne spent thirteen years at Thea Westreich Art Advisory Services, rising to the level of Partner in 2012.  Suzanne currently works with clients on all aspects of their collections, and oversees special projects for the firm, from publishing to architectural projects and private exhibitions. Suzanne received a dual BA in History and the History of Art and Architecture at Miami University.  She later studied at Tulane University in the MA Art History program, followed by a position as Audio / Visual Coordinator at the New Orleans Museum of Art.  Suzanne currently serves on the advisory board for the College of Creative Arts at Miami University.
